Youssouf Mulumbu is a Congolese footballer who plays for West Bromwich Albion as a midfielder. Mulumbu debuted Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in 2004 and helped them reach the UEFA Cup's last 16 in 2007. On 26 January 2009, he joined Premier League team West Bromwich Albion on a trial basis. In the following month he joined them on loan and then went on to sign a two year contract. As a reward for his impressive form in his first full Premier League season, a new-and-improved contract committing his furture to the Baggies until June 2014 was drawn for Mulumbu in 2011. His contract was further extended by another year on 25 July 2011. Mulumbu was named West Brom's player of the year by both the club and the fans at the end of the season. His personal honours include Champion de France and Finalist Trophée des champions while playing for Paris Saint-Germain.
