"Absolute powerhouse": BLACKPINK's Lisa's fans praise her for topping list of Most Guinness World Records in K-Pop

BLACKPINK's Lisa has added another record to her ever-growing kitty of achievements. She has added two more records to her list of Guinness World Records, officially topping the list of Most Guinness World Records in K-Pop, taking her total to seven.

The LALISA hitmaker has become the fastest K-Pop female soloist to reach 1 Billion streams on Spotify and the first album by a K-Pop soloist to reach 1 Billion streams on Spotify. With the addition of two new records, BLACKPINK's Lisa is now the artist with the most Guinness World Records in K-Pop history surpassing PSY's record of five.

BLINKs praised her for her new achievement, as they called her an "absolute powerhouse" for her new Guinness World Record and for setting the bar high.

Previously, BLACKPINK's Lisa became the fastest K-Pop female soloist to achieve 1 Billion streams on Spotify, second only to BTS' Jungkook. She achieved this feat with only three tracks - title track LALISA, b-side track MONEY, and SG, her collab track with Ozuna, Megan Thee Stallion, and DJ Snake. She achieved this way back on October 26, 2022, in 411 days.

Notably, the record was broken by BTS' Jungkook with his own three tracks (Stay Alive, Dreamers, and Left and Right) in 409 days.

Additionally, her debut solo album LALISA which was released on September 10, 2021, is the first album by a K-Pop Soloist to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify. This is a more recent achievement, that was established on April 28, 2023, 595 days after the release of her album.

These two records bring her total tally to seven, making BLINKs proud of the diamond maknae's achievements. They took to social media to lavish praise on the idol for being the first K-Pop female soloist to achieve this incredible feat.

BLACKPINK's Lisa now has seven Guinness World Record titles, making her the K-Pop soloist with the Most Guinness World Records in history surpassing PSY. Her records are as follows-

1) BLACKPINK's Lisa is the first K-Pop soloist winner at the MTV Video Music Awards.

2) She is also the first K-Pop solo winner at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

3) The LALISA singer has achieved the most views on a new music video released by a solo artist in 24 hours on Youtube.

4) She also holds the title for having the Most Viewed Youtube Music Video in 24 Hours by a solo K-Pop Artist.

5) She has the most followers on Instagram for a K-Pop artist.

6) BLACKPINK member Lisa became the fastest K-Pop female soloist to reach 1 Billion streams on Spotify.

7) She also has the first album by a K-Pop soloist to reach 1 Billion Streams on Spotify.

Notably, LALISA's official music video bagged a whopping 73.6 million views on its release day on September 10, 2021. She also became the first K-Pop female soloist to win at both the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) and MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs). BLACKPINK's Lisa achieved massive success with her debut solo album. She became the first K-Pop female artist to sell 736,000 copies of an album in its first week in South Korea at the time of its release.

The LALISA track also set the record for the most-viewed music video in the first 24 hours on YouTube by a soloist and currently has 615 million views on the platform. Notably, the popular b-side track MONEY also charted in the top 10 of the Billboard Global 200 chart and currently has 699 million streams on Spotify, making it the second most streamed song by a K-Pop female soloist.

With this, she has joined BLACKPINK, her own group as the K-Pop female act with the two most streamed songs in Spotify history.

Finally, Lisa is the most followed K-Pop artist on Instagram and has 93.2 million followers, seven million followers shy of reaching the 100 million mark. She is also the celebrity face of popular luxury brands like CELINE, Bulgari, Mac, AIS Thailand, and Chivas Regal among others.

In other news, Lisa is currently on the BORN PINK World Tour with her bandmates and will perform in Singapore's National Stadium on May 13 and 14.
