Dame Dash recently took to social media to post a seemingly sarcastic video congratulating Cam'ron on his partnership with 50 Cent. The post came after the duo announced that a Paid in Full television series was in the works. For the uninitiated, Paid in Full was a 2002 film produced by Dame Dash and Roc-A-Fella Films, starring Cam'ron, Wood Harris, and Mekhi Phifer. Set in the 1980s, the film followed the lives of the drug dealers involved in the Harlem drug trade. On September 8, 2025, Dame Dash uploaded a video congratulating Cam'ron on making 50 Cent "his new boss," adding:"Cam just made a post, a major announcement. I wanna congratulate him for making Fifty his new boss. So, congratulations, Cam. Fifty is now your new boss, and you're proud of it. Congratulations, my n***a."According to Baller Alert, Dame Dash's video came after 50 Cent took to Instagram to announce that he now owned the rights to Paid in Full, writing in the caption:“I now have the rights to PAID IN FULL. I’m developing it into a premium TV show. If you like ‘Godfather of Harlem,’ you’re gonna love this. Cam set to executive produce alongside me, if you want in get at him I’m out of the country.”Following this, Dash reposted 50 Cent's announcement to his Instagram and referenced Rico, Cam'ron's character in the film, in the caption, writing:"Smh stay tuned. Damn… the real Rico @mr_camron. So this is what this is all about."Exploring Dame Dash's relationship with Cam'ron and 50 CentDame Dash has not been on good terms with either Cam'ron or 50 Cent of late. For those uninformed, Cam'ron had been signed to Roc-A-Fella Records, which had been co-founded by Dame Dash, Jay-Z, and Kareem Burke in 1994. He was signed with the record label between 2001 and 2005.According to Vibe, the supposed feud between Dash and Cam'ron originated on the latter's appearance on Talk With Flee on August 28, 2025. In the show, Cam'ron revealed that he was not fond of how Dash allegedly got into a fight with his childhood friend Ma$e in the early 2000s.Meanwhile, Dame Dash addressed his supposed beef with Cam'ron during a recent episode of Bosses with Losses, which aired on September 2, 2025, claiming that Cam'ron has not had a "hit record" since leaving Roc-A-Fella Records. Following this, Cam'ron hit back at Dash and labelled him as "emotional" in a social media post, writing:“Damn big bro. I thought we was snapping. My bad sincerely if u mad. But I’m glad you got that off ya chest. But me emotional?! Never dat. I think you a lil emotional and I get it. Secondly I’m ya REAL friend. Cause whoever you around is a wack *ninja emoji* for letting you do that interview in that condition. I woulda never let you get on camera like that,” Cam'ron wrote.Additionally, Dame Dash and 50 Cent have been feuding since last year after the In da Club rapper mocked Dash for his financial struggles. Speaking on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast in 2024, he stated that Dash had "no money now."According to Vibe, 50 Cent claimed that Dash was the only person who told him that his $1 million record deal with Eminem's Shady Records was not worth much, saying:“The only person that pointed out a million dollars was no money was Damon Dash, and he has no money now. How you gonna say that’s no money... I’m from 134th Street. A million dollars is a lot of money. I think I hit the lotto. How are you gonna say that it’s no money? I just never forgot that because of how it felt."Eminem and 50 Cent at "Southpaw" New York Premiere (Image via Getty)50 Cent and Dame Dash have been going back and forth since then. However, 50 Cent sympathized with Dash's financial turmoil via an Instagram post in May 2025, advising the record executive to keep his "chin up" and encouraging him to "bounce back."The news of 50 Cent and Cam'ron working on a TV series for Paid in Full came days after Dame Dash filed for bankruptcy on September 4, 2025. According to People Magazine, Dash claimed that he had a $25 million debt and owned just $4350 worth of assets.
