“MY PRAYERS WERE HEARD”: Fans fall in love with LE SSERAFIM and aespa’s interactions at Music Bank

LE SSERAFIM and aespa, two of the current hottest girl groups, recently interacted on Music Bank, leaving fans even more excited. The UNFORGIVEN and Spicy singers are from different agencies, which means that their worlds hardly merge. However, the interview released on May 19, 2023, on YouTube gave fans the best of both worlds, with some clips from it having gone viral.

The FEARNOT and DIVE fandom were elated when they found the singers giggling and laughing on their own. The idol groups even performed each other’s recent hits, making it a moment to remember for the fans.

LE SSERAFIM and aespa have fun at Music Bank, and so does their fandoms

LE SSERAFIM recently made an impressive comeback with their full album, UNFORGIVEN, and a title track of the same name on May 1, 2023. Similarly, aespa also made their much-awaited comeback with My World and its title track, Spicy, on May 8. With only a week difference in music releases, it was natural that the two groups would have overlapping schedules.

The UNFORGIVEN and Spicy singers’ fans witnessed adorable moments where they saw their favorite artists interacting with each other. All five members of LE SSERAFIM and four members of aespa appeared for an interview that made fans love their chemistry. Moreover, the groups danced the hook choreography of each others’ title tracks.

One particular interaction that caught fans’ attention was between LE SSERAFIM’s Ahn Yunjin and aespa’s Ningning. The duo stood in the second row and kept on giving each other glances and giggling. One user on Twitter even called them “bffs” as their almost-secretive interactions reminded them of moments between close friends.

Another moment that gave fans LE SSERAFIM and aespa “crumbs” was when Karina put the mic in front of Eunchae to let her sing Spicy’s introduction.

UNFORGIVEN and Spicy went head-to-head for the Music Bank trophy on May 19. The latter trackraked in 11842 points, while UNFORGIVEN achieved only 7313 points. The winners are announced with all performing artists of the day on stage, and the winning team gets to sing an encore stage while the others leave the platform.

As artists began leaving the stage, Karina, who had the opening lines in Spicy, put her hand forward and made Eunchae sing the first line. The adorable interaction between the two was also loved by fans.

Meanwhile, reception to both LE SSERAFIM’s UNFORGIVEN and aespa’s My World have been impressive.

The UNFORGIVEN singers were listed in Forbes 30 under 30 Asia List for 2023. They even became the fastest K-pop girl group to enter the top 10 of the Billboard 200 charts.

Fans’ anticipation for an aespa comeback was reflected in them making Hanteo history as the highest first-week sales of any female artist by recording 1,698,784 sales for My World. The quartet also dropped the dates for their upcoming SYNK: HYPER LINE tour, taking them through the US, Mexico, and Europe.
