On August 19, 2024, visitors wearing Cowboy Kamala sashes, inspired by Beyoncé's album Cowboy Carter, were seen at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Fans shared their excitement about the pop star's influence on political campaigns on X.

The 2024 Presidential race heated up after Joe Biden backed out of the race and nominated Vice President Kamala Harris as the next potential democratic candidate to run opposite Republican nominee Donald Trump. Promotion campaigns and rallies from both parties have been ongoing ahead of the November elections.

After spotting people using Cowboy Kamala sashes at the DNC, fans were in awe of Queen Bey and her album's cultural impact. Here are some of the reactions:

"Oh Beyoncé your impact will always be here," a fan said.
"The influence of Beyoncé" an individual wrote.
"oh they ate that 😭" a person opined.
"beyonce for harris?!" a user added.
"Cowboy Carter has the most impact of any album in 2024 omg" a fan opined.

Netizens continued to rave about the Cowboy Kamala sashes, alleging that the singer's latest album had a great cultural and popular impact on the masses.

"And people said Cowboy Carter didn’t have any cultural impact? Iktr!" a user commented.
"oh i love this! she’s definitely performing at that inauguration" a fan alleged.
"She wasn’t lying when she said “ you are the visuals”" a netizen shared.

Vice President Kamala Harris made a surprise appearance at Monday's DNC meet as she walked out while Beyoncé's 2016 track Freedom played in the background. The track has become the official campaign song for Harris for the 2024 Presidential elections.

Freedom is Beyoncé's tenth musical number from her chart-busting 2016 album lemonade. The song featured in Kamala Harris' first Presidential campaign video which talks about issues such as abortion, gun violence, and healthcare.

“We choose freedom. Freedom! Freedom! I can’t move / Freedom, cut me loose! Yeah,” Harris implores in the video as Beyoncé's Freedom plays in the background.

Freedom was used as the background music during Kamala Harris' first public appearance after being endorsed by Joe Biden as the official Presidential candidate for the Democrats. According to a report by CNN, she got prior approval from Queen Bey to use her song just hours before she walked out on stage in Delaware.

Although Queen Bey hasn't officially endorsed Kamala Harris and Tim Walz as the Democrats candidates, Tina Knowles posted a picture with Kamala Harris after Joe Biden's official endorsement of Kamala as the Presidential nominee.

She raved about President Joe Biden's selfless act of choosing the country over his personal ego and endorsing the 'new, youthful, sharp' Kamala Harris as the official Democrats nominee.

"New, Youthful, Sharp , , energy !!!! You asked for it and our President Biden did what was best for the country ! Putting personal Ego , power and fame aside . That is the definition of a great leader, . Thank you, President Biden for your service and your leadership . Go Vice President Kamala Harris for President. Let's Go," she wrote in the caption.

This is not the first time Freedom has become the warcry of protests in the United States. In fact, the song became the anthem of protest after the 2020 George Floyd incident and subsequently had a 625% increase in streaming numbers during that time. It was also sung by singer and actress Amber Riley during that time.
