Nike keeps on wowing with its thematic creations dedicated to the Year of the Dragon, which is being lined up for the Lunar New Year festivities that will take place in 2024. The Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 is one of the most recently added models to this vast "Year of the Dragon" assortment.

It is a shoe that features distinctive details and a simple color scheme supported by glittery and holographic highlights. This novel approach joins the roster of an Air Force 1 Low that was previously shown off. This Dunk Low variant possesses a style comparable to that of the Air Force 1 Low but distinguished in its way.

An eye-catching "Reverse Panda" color-blocking design is featured on the Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 "Year of the Dragon" shoe. While the upper parts and midsoles are made of black leather, they mix harmoniously and they are set against white leather toppings.

Iridescent trimmings are included on the forefoot as well as the side panels of the footwear, which add an extra dose of illuminating flair to the shoe's traditional style.

The tongue badges have been embellished with metallic dragon decoration, represents the zodiac animal honored throughout the Lunar New Year. This further elevates the already impressive motif.

A deep ice blue outsole is located below the black and white top, offering an opposing hue that is both subtle and compelling. This contrast contributes to the design by adding dimension and texture.

The genesis and advancement of the classic Dunk style are outlined on Swoosh's site in the following manner:

“From backboards to skateboards, the influence of the Nike Dunk is undeniable. Although introduced as a basketball shoe in 1985, its flat and grippy soles were perfect for a neglected sports community—skater.”

It continues:

“Uncovering a subculture craving creativity as much as function, the Dunk released decades of countless colorways that continue to capture the soul of skaters from coast to coast.”

Be on the lookout for the release of the Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 "Year of the Dragon" shoes shortly. Sign up on the brand's website or download the SNKRS app if you're interested in receiving updates or any other information regarding the sneakers mentioned before.

The year 2024 is scheduled to witness the release of many more Dunk Lows. Several more hues, such as "Rose Whisper," "Concord," "Knicks," and "Valentine's Day," have been teased by the Swoosh label.

Additionally, it is anticipated that they will be made available through the SNKRS app, several affiliated vendors, and through the internet and Nike's physical websites.
