Christopher Mauris Brown who goes by his stage name Chris Brown faced many legal issues in his career and continues to do so. Though he has been accused of violence multiple times, he still is doing great career-wise. The most recent legal trouble that Brown landed into was when an unidentified woman accused him of raping her in 2020. The news blew up on social media and left the singer making headlines for a long time. Although the matter was then addressed in court, a judge later dismissed it after Miami police found a series of intimate and consensual texts between the accuser and Brown that nullifies her allegations against the singer.
After the chats were leaked, the accuser's lawyers announced that they won't be representing her as the evidence against her complicated the case.

At the time of being sued and accused of a heinous crime such as drugging and rape, the R&B star and his legal team didn't comment on it. However, after the text was found by the police through the accuser's phone, Brown shared them on his Instagram stories along with a statement that read, “No more dragging me through the mud.” He also wrote, "Me and my team are taking legal action on this situation. You don’t play with people’s lives like that.” The case against the singer was later dismissed by a judge in the court.

Chris Brown landed in his first legal trouble after he had a heated argument with his then-girlfriend Rihanna which led to physical altercations between the two. Riri was left with visible injuries on her face and she had to seek medical attention. This led to Brown being charged with felony assault and making criminal threats and he had to accept a plea deal of community labor, five years probation, and domestic violence counseling.

The Under The Influence singer recently defended himself against those who still dig out dirt about the situation that happened between him and Rihanna decades ago.
Taking it to his Instagram story, Brown wrote, “If y’all still hate me for a mistake I made as a 17-year-old (19-years-old) please kiss my whole entire a*s." The singer contained by writing “I’m f*king 33. I’m so tired of y’all running with this narrative… you weird a*s n** are the same ones that tune in every week to see Blueface and Chrisean beat the f**k out each other in front of the world."
He also wrote, “But that’s ok? It’s entertainment? All y’all can suck my d**k disrespectfully."
“Where are the cancel culture with these white artists that date underage women, beat the f*k out their wives, giving bi*es aids, Oh. That’s right.. they are your buddies no more fake love from me.. stay out my way or get ran over simple as that! None of you and I mean none of you n** can f**k wit me," Brown wrote as he concluded his rant.
