After the Season 3 finale, the show's creators gave viewers a significant update. The reason Peacock decided to air Love Island USA was "due to the explicit nature" of the program. The fourth season of the show was its only season to be broadcast on the streaming service. According to UsWeekly, a tweet from the show's official Twitter account was used to break the news. Soon after, it became known that Arielle had been let go. The real reason Arielle is no longer hosting Love Island USA was made public on June 30, 2022.

Arielle posted a message on Instagram with the following: “I was cast to be the host of CBS’s version of Love Island, and we had three amazing seasons! Unfortunately, CBS didn’t pick it up for a fourth season.” Arielle claims that the reason for her departure was a significant rebrand that also eliminated the show's narrator. She gushed that she would "never forget the day" she was chosen to host the CBS series.

She continued by expressing gratitude to the cast and crew and wishing luck to the new Love Island USA host. “I wouldn’t have traded the experience for anything,” Arielle added. “So with that being said, my time on Love Island is over.” “I have 30 minutes to pack my bags and say my goodbyes.”
