The only celebrities we can be certain will attend are the co-chairs and hosts, which include Dua Lipa, Michaela Coel, Penélope Cruz, and Roger Federer. Along with being present, live stream hosts La La Anthony, Derek Blasberg, Chloe Fineman, and Emma Chamberlain will also be there. The rest of the guest list won't be made public until the Met Gala, but there are rumored lists that speculate on who will attend the 2023 Met Gala.

Penélope Cruz
It has been confirmed that Penelope Cruz will preside over this year's Met Gala, "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty." Cruz, who was close friends with Lagerfeld, served as Chanel's longtime muse and after his passing, she made her runway debut in 2019.
“My last day with him was here in New York,” Cruz told People. “We were walking in Central Park at 12 at night, and it was really magical.”
She spoke to WWD about her feelings following her participation in his posthumous final runway show. “I felt like laughing and crying at the same time to see all these people who loved him so much celebrating him together.” “But seeing all this, also it’s the beginning of something else, all that he’s created over all these years.”

The Met Gala, "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty," will indeed be hosted by Roger Federer this year. The tennis champion is good friends with Anna Wintour. Anna penned the following in a tribute essay that accompanied his retirement:
