Marjorie Jacqueline "Marge" Simpson is the mom and leader of the Simpson family. She's one of the five important people in The Simpsons TV show. Marge and her husband Homer have three kids: Bart, Lisa, and Maggie.

Marge is the one who tries to keep everyone on the right path in her family. She's like the one who makes sure things stay in order at home, even when her family does crazy stuff. Besides taking care of her family, Marge has tried different jobs, like being a cop or fighting against violence for a little while.

Marge and Homer actually first met when they were both ten years old at Camp Land-A-Man. But back then, they didn't know each other's real names. Homer went by a different name and had an eye patch, and Marge didn't share her name either. She even changed her hair color to brown at the time.

Marge Bouvier was born in Capital City to her parents, Clancy Bouvier, who used to be a photographer but became a flight attendant, and Jacqueline Bouvier. She's the youngest of the Bouvier family and has two older sisters, Patty and Selma, who aren't very cheerful and strongly disapprove of Homer Simpson.
