They revealed that they will be hosting three live events in the nation along with a talent hunt to find the new breakout professional wrestler from India. The events in Mumbai will take place from 2nd to 4th December this year and will boast of some big names in the company.

“India is a country that has an extensive history of wrestling, with such talent in abundance. Given the national interest for the sporting event, we want to showcase consistent content along with high quality and local programming to connect with our viewers,” said Mr. Prasana Krishnan, Business Head of Sony SIX.

TNA superstars Mahabali Shera, Ethan Carter III and Rebel will be the main attractions at the event. ECIII is a former TNA World Champion and has a history of battling with names like Kurt Angle, Sting and many others. Rebel, on the other hand, is an established knockout in the roster and could win over the crowd with her charm.

The TNA management is also high on Mahabali Shera as he is the key to the Indian market. Shera is slowly building a fan base in the country and could dethrone Khali as the top Indian wrestler in no time.
