5 reasons why Seth Rollins should with the WWE Money in the Bank contract

Seth Rollins shocked the world when he turned on his brothers and destroying the Shield. He then aligned with the Authority and is certainly reaping the benefits of that friendship. And one of that benefits that he got was a free pass into the second ladder match in Money in the Bank which will be contested for the briefcase containing a guaranteed title shot. The others in the match are yet to be confirmed but there are certain things which make Rollins the favorite. The feud with Dean Ambrose might be in the horizon but here are five reasons why Seth Rollins should win the briefcase at Money in the Bank.

#5 Carries his momentum forward

By turning heel, Seth Rollins gained a lot of momentum that both his former team mates didn’t have. All of a sudden he was trending everywhere and the company gave him some strong booking between the ropes as well.

Riding high on such momentum, it is unlikely that the company would let him drop down from their so easily. A loss in Money in the Bank match no matter how it comes is going to affect the run that Rollins has now.

On the other hand if he wins, then the company could carry his momentum all the way to the point where he cashes in the contract and maybe become the champion.

#4 Future feuds

Rollins winning the briefcase is going to put him right into the title scene which involves the lights of Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Randy Orton and of course Reigns, who happens to be an old pal of Rollins.

Rollins could easily strike up a great feud with any of the names mentioned above. First of all, his feud with Bryan could be a wrestling school for anyone who is trying to learn the spot. The possible angle with John Cena would help Rollins reach heights like Bray did.

A turn on Randy Orton and a feud with him will also be interesting while the one against his old friend Reigns will be a classic storyline of betrayal and trust.

#3 Company needs a top heel

Apart from the authority, there aren’t many people on the roster whom we could completely classify into the heel category.

Bray Wyatt is projected as one but we all know that the fans see him as a face. Cesaro also would end up being a face if Heyman stops talking for a minute. Like this all the superstars who are supposed to be heel is leaned towards the other side.

However, Rollins has some launching pad for his heel run after he betrayed Reigns and Ambrose. The fans already hate him and winning the briefcase would only magnify that giving the company a clear heel rather than diluted ones.

#2 He is championship quality

If we take the list of superstars who excel in the ring technically at the moment, Rollins is sure to end up in the top three alongside Daniel Bryan and Cesaro.

Now the WWE acknowledged this fact with Bryan and gave him the Title run that was unfortunately cut short. Cesaro seems to be on the same path and winning the briefcase will put Rollins in the mix as well.

He would be a technically brilliant champion like Bryan. Rollins has previous experience of being world champion at Ring of Honor and also was the first ever NXT champion. This shows that he is someone who can carry the belt around without much difficulty.

#1 Higher stakes for Dean Ambrose feud

The feud between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are getting a lot of heat from the crowd as there are a lot of deep lying emotions in the angle.

The whole storyline revolves around the betrayal that Seth Rollins performed and the company could easily raise the stakes if Rollins wins the briefcase. Dean Ambrose could end up challenging for the briefcase once Rollins wins it.

At the moment, Rollins has nothing from his part to keep on the table while Ambrose is out for revenge. Rollins’ fear about losing the briefcase will further fuel this feud and with the other eye Rollins will be searching for the correct opportunity to cash in as well.
