5 things to expect from Brock Lesnar on his WWE return

After ending Undertakers long running WrestleMania streak, Brock Lesnar went in stealth mode which took away some of his momentum. And as the company is heading towards their biggest pay-per-view of the summer, Lesnar looks all set to make his return.Despite being out of the limelight, the company and the fans clearly know that Lesnar is a big draw when it comes to such situations. A roster without CM Punk and Daniel Bryan will welcome Lesnar with both hands as he opens more doors for the creative team.Though this would only be a short stint like his previous runs, there are certain things that Lesnar is bound to do. So here is a look at five things that we could expect from Lesnars potential new run.

#5 Paul Heymans usual dose of boasting

One way in which the WWE reduced the effects of Lesnar’s absence was through Paul Heyman. Heyman has flourished so far in the role of Lesnar’s advocate while is showing some failure when hanging around with Cesaro.

Heyman has been more than vocal about how his client managed to be the one in twenty one and one and with Lesnar by his side; the fans would be praying to shut Heyman up.

Adding another level to the Heyman angle would be Cesaro. The WWE fans are yet to see how Cesaro reacts to the return of Lesnar and there is enough space for the two men to lock horns at one point.

Heyman endorsing Lesnar while being near Cesaro could play as the igniter for the Swiss Superman giving fans an interesting feud to look forward to.

#4 The destruction

Destruction and Lesnar are synonymous. Looking closer into all of his matches so far, this is a factor around which the WWE have booked him.

During all the recent runs that Lesnar has had, he usually had a pattern of going out and destroying some jobbers or even established names like Mark Henry or Big Show. Though this time he has no time to have a jobber match in between, Lesnar wouldn’t stop his run without taking out someone.

The names might include the lights of Damien Sandow or Dolph Ziggler as they are two wrestlers which the company isn’t pushing at the moment. Lesnar could also have some dominance over a big star as his run might not be confined in a single match at SummerSlam.

#3 An Alliance with Authority

Last time Lesnar was in WWE, he didn’t have a good relationship with the Authority. He didn’t get the title shot he wanted and ended up facing Undertaker at WrestleMania.

However, that match against the Phenom raised Lesnar’s stock in the company and he is in a position to demand a title shot. Also when Lesnar had the same demand last time, Randy Orton was the champion and he was someone who the Authority wanted to protect.

This time, it will be a completely different situation. Cena is one of the last names that the Authority would want as champion and they have already made that clear. Hunter could do all the depths to take away the title from Cena with Lesnar being the first choice replacement.

#2 A John Cena feud

The initial plan that the company had for Lesnar was to have him feud with Daniel Bryan. However, the flying goat was taken out due to injury which left the WWE in an awkward situation. They as usual went to the next best possibility which was John Cena.

As per rumors, the current plan is to let Lesnar face Cena at SummerSlam as all the other options will cause problems in one way or the other.

Cesaro facing Lesnar so early would cut short his association with Heyman which will affect him adversely. The other option, Roman Reigns, is still a long way from being able to carry the pressure of a big main event eliminating him from the options.

Cena on the other hand wouldn’t be hurt with any result against Lesnar making him the best option for Lesnar to face.

#1 WWE title win

The only thing that has eluded Lesnar after returning from UFC is a World Heavyweight championship. The reason why WWE hasn’t given him the title is the amount of time he had to spend during his short stints.

Though this will also be a short stint, WWE will need a big title change at Summerslam as they are planning to have a dense packed card for Night of Champions.

And if Lesnar is to stick around for the same he must have a reason to do that. He is high on momentum right now and a loss at Summerslam would ruin that making Lesnar’s win over Undertaker look like a fluke.

A title win for Lesnar is sure to happen and though the reign won’t last so long, a win would take away the pressure from streak ending and give emphasis to the title reign.
