Fabregas celebrating his goal for Chelsea against Schalke

Goals Scored: 17

Fabregas still has a few good years left in him and could easily climb up this list into one of the top spots. The former Barcelona and Arsenal man currently sits in the 9th place with 17 goals. Surprisingly Fabregas scored just one Champions League goal in each of his three seasons at Barcelona and he has already matched that figure in just two Champions League games with Chelsea.

The Spaniard scored the majority of his goals in Europe with Arsenal where he spent the most successful period of his career so far. In fact his first Champions league goal which was for Arsenal made him the second youngest scorer in the tournament. The following season he started the Champions League final for Arsenal against his future employees Barcelona in a losing cause.

This season Fabregas scored Chelsea’s only goal in their opening game of the UEFA Champions League game against Schalke, the goal was also his first goal as Chelsea player. His best goal in the tournament has to be the one he scored against Milan in an away game back in 2007-08, which was from nearly 35 yards out.
