Transfer Rumours: 2 February - Deadline Day

With a few hours left for the transfer window to shut down, there are talks of several big money moves on the deadline day. Today’s transfer rumours include Manchester United big money move for Brazilian star Marquinhos, Arsenal agree a deal for Morgan Schneiderlin, Didier Drogba set to stay at Chelsea beyond summer, and Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert might be on his way to KC Stadium.Here are the top transfer rumours of the day:

#1 Liverpool

• According to Inside Futbol, Hannover will not sell skipper Lars Stindl to Liverpool on the transfer deadline day. Hannover president Martin Kind told Bild, "In any eventuality, we will not let him go this winter." Reports suggest Stindl might be available for just €3m in the summer.

Mirror reports Liverpool striker and boyhood fan Rickie Lambert might be on the verge of a move with Hull City expected to make a last attempt to sign the England international on loan. Earlier, Lambert rejected the chance to join other Premier League clubs to join Anfield.

• According to Daily Star, Liverpool will consult Kop legend Xabi Alonso before submitting a £18m summer bid for Real Madrid midfielder Asier Illarramendi. The former Real Sociedad man is deemed surplus to requirements at Santiago Bernabeu.

• Another report in Daily Star suggests young defender Rafael Paez has joined Spanish side Deportivo Eibar on a loan deal until the end of the season. The 20-year-old joined Liverpool from Real Madrid in 2013.

#2 Manchester United

• According to Le 10 Sport and various other sources in France, Manchester United have made a last minute bid to sign Paris Saint Germain’s Marquinhos. Reports suggest United put in a €45m bid to sign the Brazilian defender, but Paris Saint Germain want €65m for him.

• According to Express, Manchester United are keen on signing Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder from Galatasaray. It is believed Sneijder wants the move and Manchester United will have to spend around £15m for his services.

Goal reports Crystal Palace have agreed a deal with Manchester United to sign Wilfried Zaha. The 22-year-old made just 2 senior appearances for Manchester United is expected to re-join his boyhood club permanently today.

• According to Manchester Evening News, Everton want to sign Adnan Januzaj on loan from Manchester United, but they will have to persuade the Belgian international to make a move to Goodison Park.

#3 Arsenal

• According to Daily Star, Arsenal and Liverpool have been offered Real Madrid left-back Fabio Coentrao, but it seems both Arsene Wenger and Brendan Rodgers are not interested in signing the Portuguese international.

• Another report in Daily Star suggests Morgan Schneiderlin has agreed to join Arsenal. The Southampton midfielder rejected a move to Tottenham to join their rivals Arsenal.

• According to Mirror, Arsenal are set to offer a bumper contract to England international Theo Walcott. The 25-year-old will be offered a 5-year deal, as his current deal is expiring in 18 months.

Metro reports several English clubs including Arsenal rejected the opportunity to sign Nicolas Anelka. The 35-year-old recently played for Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League.

#4 Chelsea and other EPL clubs

• According to reports, Didier Drogba has confirmed he is set to stay at Stamford Bridge beyond summer. Drogba told French TV channel Telefoot, “Loïc Rémy played another great match yesterday. Next season, I will still be a Chelsea player.”

• Chelsea forward Mohamed Salah is set to undergo a medical ahead of his proposed move to Fiorentina, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

• According to the Times, Tottenham Hotspur have submitted a bid for MK Dons midfielder Dele Alli and hijack his proposed move to Aston Villa or Newcastle United. Dele Alli is also a long-term transfer target for Liverpool.

Skysports reports Southampton have begun talks to sign Feyenoord midfielder Tonny Vilhena. Sky Sources also believe Saints are interested in signing Serbian attacker Filip Djuricic and want to make it a loan deal for the Benfica winger who is already on loan at Mainz in Germany.

• Another report in SkySports suggests Tottenham Hotspurs winger Aaron Lennon is unsure about joining Hull City on loan. Several other Premier League clubs are also interested in signing the 27-year-old winger.
