There have been many nail-biting finals, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats. However, some Grand Slam finals were not as competitive as they should have been. #5 Marin Cilic vs Kei Nishikori, - U.S Open, 2014

With both Nishikori and Cilic defeating Djokovic and Federer with ease, this was expected to be a well contested final.

Unfortunately, it was not to be. Cilic dominated right from the beginning and he did not give Nishikori many chances as he dispatched him in straight sets, just under the two-hour mark. Cilics powerful serve and forehand was too much for the Japanese player.

#4 Rafael Nadal vs David Ferrer - French Open, 2013

David Ferrer entered his first final at Roland Garros in 2013 and was up against seventime winner Rafael Nadal. Ferrer was looking to cause an upset and he knew that he might not get too many chances at a Grand Slam final again.

Ferrer was not able to take his chances as Nadal dominated throughout the match and hardly put a foot wrong as he dispatched his DavisCupteammate in straight sets.

#3 Andre Agassi vs Rainer Schttler - Australian Open, 2003

It looks like Andre Agassi saved his best Grand Slam win for the last.

He was up against Rainer Schuttler, the world no. 31 from Germany.Agassi was flawless, ruthless, and brutally effective.

The match lasted only 76 minutes with Agassi demolishing the German. He went on to win his eighth Grand Slam which was to be his last victory.

#2 Roger Federer vs Lleyton Hewitt,U.S Open 2004

Roger Federer came into the U.S Open after becoming World No. 1 and seeking his 3rdGrand Slamof the year. He was up against the 2001 winner Lleyton Hewitt.

Everyone expected the match to go right down to the wire, but Federer had other plans for the Australian as he dispatched him off in less than 2 hours beating him in straight sets. Hewitt was unable to win a game against him in the first and the third set.

Roger Federer came into the tournament with a lot of expectations. All expectations died down as soon as the final began.

Nadal dominated right from the beginning and had answers to everything Federer threw at him.Federer nearly had as many unforced errors as he did points won, and he only managed to wina minuscule five points on his own second serve.

Federer went on to lose the Wimbledon final as well that year.
