We are BOlievers!It was a momentous week for the biggest wrestling promotion in the world. There was a nostalgia- driven Raw, a very good 2-hour show called Smackdown and many new developments in the show of shows called NXT.Tyler Breeze debuted, Stone Cold returned and introduced the Undertaker and Shawn Michaels showed why he still is the ‘Showstopper’. But as the WWE heads towards Hell in a Cell, there are some things that they have in their hands which they should really work upon.Here are the 3 points from this week that needs WWE’s utmost attention and which when delved upon can create some great results-
#3 Nikki Bella Vs Paige
In the women’s division on the main roster, not much time has been put into making a memorable feud last.
So it’s great to see that Nikki Bella and Paige have such great in- ring chemistry- a feat not many can boast of. The focus on the Divas in the main roster increased monumentally after that brief but significant exchange Stephanie McMahon and AJ Lee had on Twitter and after #GiveDivasAChance began trending worldwide before that.
During that time, Bella and Paige had matches which were given sufficient and were hence one of the best womens matches this year. Bella was never able to beat Paige clean. But this week on Smackdown she did so, in another good match which was given a good amount of time.
The company should depend more on these two women on the main roster. They compliment each other well and seem to have a good chemistry necessary to put on a good match.
#2 Give BO and MIZ a chance
Bo Dallas faced Ryback this week and again happened to be one of the most entertaining acts who is rarely ever utilized properly.
He was certainly more interesting than Ryback in the match. The Miz made an appearance and it was on Miz TV that Tyler Breeze made his much talked about debut.
The Miz is one of the best heels the company has. He plays the Hollywood, narcissit gimmick to the tee. But he’s rarely if ever used in a relevant position. Long gone are the days when he and Damien Sandow made something memorable and great out of a ridiculous gimmick.
#1 Empty accomplishments
This week on Smackdown, Sheamus and Barrett picked up a victory in a decent match against the Lucha Dragons.
Sheamus is this year's Money In The Bank briefcase holder and Barrett is the current King of the Ring and both of them have the most paltry amount of momentum this year. There is nothing interesting about their characters right now. Barrett was doing something interesting when he was an ally to Stardust, but that unit broke up quickly.
Rusev with the Russian Flag is far more interesting than these two put together. Sheamus may just not end up cashing his contract successfully so that’s that. It’s been some time since accomplishments in WWE become no big deal.
