One of Houston Rocket's greatest centers and perhaps of all time, Hakeem Olajuwon captivated the game from 1984-1992. Born in Nigeria, he migrated to the States to play for the University of Houston. In the 1984 draft he was picked to play for Houston Rockets.

Hakeem racked up 26,946 points in 1,238 appearances, maintaining an average of 21.77 points per game.

In 1993–94, he became the only player in NBA history to win the NBA MVP, Defensive Player of the Year and Finals MVP awards in the same season. In 1996, Olajuwon was a member of the Olympic gold-medal-winning USA team, and was selected as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA history.
