Top 5 hot shots from the Monte Carlo Masters

The 2015 Monte Carlo Masters came to an end on Sunday, with World No.1 Novak Djokovic winning the final in three sets against Tomas Berdych. The competition saw many brilliant moments- from thrilling rallies to fantastic winners.Here are 5 hotshots from the ATP Masters event

#5 Rafael Nadal\'s winner from the centre of the court

Rafael Nadal produced an another exceptional winner in his semifinal clash against Novak Djokovic. The first set was tied at 3-3 and the Spaniard was trailing the Serbian AD-40. After an engaging 17-shot rally(that included a slice and a overhead shot from the Spaniard), the 14-time Grand Slam produced a sensational winner from the centre of the court, to bring the game back to deuce. Although Nadal lost the match in straight sets, this was certainly one of the best points of the match.

#4 Monfils\'s Fake drop shot

Gael Monfils had taken the first set of his match against Alexandr Dolgopolov of Ukraine 7-6 but found himself 1-2 in the second. Serving to make it 2-2, the Frenchman played a lovely drop shot but turned his back around for a split second, in disappointment probably, only to realise a moment later that the ball was in play and then produced a fantastic winner, in response to Dolgopolov’s forehand, to take a 15-0 lead in the game.

#3 Dimitrov produces a \'slip\' winner

Grigor Dimitrov was 0-2 to Gael Monfils in the first set, when on a Monfils serve, he produced an astonishing piece of swiftness, after slipping on Monfils’s backhand, only to produce some more quality strokes including one, right from the corner of the court.

Although Dimitrov lost the match in straight sets, this piece of sharpness from the Bulgarian was certainly one of the moments of the match.

#2 Rafael Nadal\'s passing shot against John Isner

Rafael Nadal was 3-4 down in his third round clash against John Isner. Up 30-0, The Spaniard was involved in a terrific 18-shot rally with Isner and eventually won the point with a superb volley, from very close to the net. The Nine-time French Open champions went on to win the match 7-6 4-6 6-3 to progress through to the quarter-finals.

#1 Djokovic\'s brilliant forehand

Novak Djokovic had won the first set of his Monte Carlo Masters final against Tomas Berdych. The Czech Republican, through pulled his way back into the contest and at 3-3 in the second set had an advantage over the World No.1. But Djokovic isn't the best in the business for nothing. The 27-year-old brought the game back on deuce with a brilliant forehand winner that landed just inside the line. He eventually went on to win the match 7-5 4-6 6-3.
