#5 CM Punk retired

With the rumors regarding the return of Punk at the epitome due to Payback, the straight edged superstar decided to shoot down all of them by saying that he is retired.

Punk is still in his thirties at the moment and the “retirement” word came as a shock for many. He might’ve been making a clear point that he will not appear in Payback but the way he revealed that cause havoc in the internet.

However, on the bright side, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Terry Funk, Mick Foley, and many more are there in the list of people who returned after retiring, so we never know.

#4 Tyson Kidd going to be repackaged

Tyson Kidd is a highly regarded name in the WWE and he has proven his worth whenever he got the chance to do so.

At NXT Takeover, Kidd had an awesome encounter with Adrian Neville which has made the WWE think about repackaging Kidd. According to the rumors, the WWE think that the Tyson Kidd character is stale at the moment and wants to give the superstar something new.

There are plans in the background of making him a masked wrestler which is sure to fill the void left by Rey Mysterio. Kidd is far superior to Sin Cara as well which could make him the top masked wrestler in the company without any time.

#3 WWE going private

WWE going public was one of the reasons why the fans got the PG era as the company wanted to look mainstream and reputable rather than the foul mouth and violent style that they gave during the Attitude Era.

Recently, WWE has been on some kind of financial crisis which has risen up the rumors of the company going private again.

Now it is clearly exciting news for the fans but from the looks of it, the important people in the company are not thrilled about the possibility.

The only ray of hope for the fans will now be Vince McMahon who is known to go desperate limits to get his company up and running.

#2 Undertaker still recovering from his match

Paul Heyman’s client Brock Lesnar putting an end to Undertaker’s undefeated streak in WrestleMania is pretty much still in the news.

But on the other side, there is Undertaker who still hasn’t recovered from that match according to some rumors. Taker is believed to be in a bad shape even after two months and by now the fans have started to realize why the streak was ended.

There are some people in the WWE who believe that is was a bad idea, but then again, even if Taker made it to WrestleMania next year, it would’ve been just an insult as he will be barely able to wrestle.

#1 Dean Ambrose turning heel soon

There was actually a great base for this one after Dean Ambrose mentioned Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns as his “former” partners in an interview that he gave to the WWE Magazine.

Now the chances of this turning out to be an editorial error are there but then again the fans love to believe otherwise. It makes a lot of sense if WWE decides to turn Dean Ambrose as he is brilliant in playing a heel.

At the same time, with Batista going to be absent from the WWE for some time, Evolution getting a new recruit in form of Ambrose will be an exciting prospect.

However if that is to happen, WWE will not be happy about the way that Ambrose broke the surprise and if it doesn’t happen, then this might go down as a great move from the company to make everyone tune into Payback.
