The rumours are coming thick and fast along with it as well.Here are the rumours making the rounds in the transfer mill this Sunday.

#1 Serie A

Pirlo might wear the Nerazzurri colours again

Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini is interested in bringing in out-of-form Chelsea right-back Branislav Ivanovic, reports to the clubThe Mirror. The Serbian defender’s contract with the Blues is set to end this summer and the Nerazzurri should move quick if they hope to land the defender for a reasonable price.

Juventus is planning a swoop for Everton’s star striker, Romelu Lukaku, according to some Italian media outlets, Sky Sports reports. The Old Lady reportedly want the Belgian next summer, however, the Merseysiders would want a fee in the region of around 60m euros which can be a little too much for the Italian giants.

In a very interesting development, ESPN reports that Inter Milan is interested in signing Italy legend Andrea Pirlo on loan. The MLS season is over and the decision it is up to the Italian playmaker whether he wants to rest or come back to Serie A.

Inter’s manager Roberto Mancini told club’s official website that football is uncertain, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Pirlo returns to the club where he spent three years, mostly on the fringes. However, he said that he has not yet talked to the World Cup winner.

"I've not spoken to him, but anything can happen in football. MLS is over for the season so maybe he wants to rest, but I'm sure clubs will be interested if he fancies a return to Italy because he's a fantastic player.

"He's a champion- not your average player. He has amazing technique and reads the game quicker than most other players.

"In the future we may look at players with similar characteristics because we have players that are very physically strong and they can give us more when the pitches cut up a bit."

#2 La Liga

Barcelona reportedly wants Van Persie as a cover for MSN

Defending champions Barcelona are keeping tabs on Robin Van Persie’s situation at Fenerbache and might move for him in the January transfer window, Sportsmole reports. Reportedly, RVP is not happy with his life in Turkey as he is frequently made to start on the bench, something which he did not expect before his move from Manchester United.

The Dutch striker has scored five goals in 17 appearances so far this season.

Young Real Madrid starlet Martin Odegaard’s loan move to Real Zaragoza has fallen off which may alert Scottish side Celtic, who wanted to sign the 16-year old on loan in the summer transfer window, Inside Futbol reports.

Real Madrid is interested in signing 22-year-old forward Luan from Brazilian side Gremio, Mundo Deportivo reports. The Brazilian is tipped to be the ‘next-Neymar’ and has scored 15 times this season. The transfer might cost Los Blancos £11m if they plan to sign him in the January transfer window.

#3 English Premier League

Simeone is one of the contenders for the Chelsea manager job

The Mirror reports that Chelsea might be interested in signing Diego Simeone, who is almost certain to leave Atletico Madrid in the summer. The report is based on an article published in English newspaper Sunday People.

Mourinho’s job at Chelsea is in jeopardy after his team slumped to a third successive defeat in the league. The Express, on the other hand, reports that the Blues have lined-up a list of three managers, Brendan Rodgers, Roberto Di Matteo, and another former boss Guus Hiddink who might be a short-term replacement for the Portuguese and ultimately, Simeone and Pep Guardiola could be considered for the long term.

Chelsea is also said to be interested in the signing of Javier Hernandez from Bayer Leverkusen, according to The Mirror. The Mexican moved to the German club from Manchester United this summer. It is believed that the striker might cost something around £8.5million if Leverkusen decide to let the player go.

Italian daily, Tuttosport reports that Arsenal and Manchester United are set to go head to head for the signing of Juventus defender Daniele Rugani this winter. The Italy U21 international has made just the one appearance for the club this season and might be open for a move to the Premier League giants. However, Fiorentina and Sampdoria are also believed to be interested in the player.

The Red Devils are also interested in bringing back on-loan winger Adnan Januzaj from Borussia Dortmund, according to the Mirror. The 20-year old was allowed to go to the Westfalenstadion so that he could continue his development by getting more game-time. However, he has started only two matches for Tomas Tuchel’s side thus far. As a result of which LVG wants to bring the winger back before the pre-agreed time.

According to reports on Italian outlet Tuttosport, Liverpool had almost secured the signing of Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato from Corinthians.

The Brazilian’s club president De Andrade told Tuttosport, "There is an agreement in principle with Liverpool for the transfer in the coming weeks, Pato had long expressed a desire to return to Europe. Liverpool await, there are a few missing details, but Klopp will have a new reinforcement and for Pato the Premier League will be a new springboard."

However, ESPN now reports that De Andrade told Globoesporto that the deal is not in place and nothing concrete can be said now.

#4 Rest of Europe

Dante wants to play for Chelsea someday

Sportsmole reports PSG and Manchester United target Riyad Mahrez of Leicester City is going nowhere according to club’s manager Claudio Ranieri.

"The speculation is good because it means we have very good players. It's only speculation, he's happy with us. We want to grow up and he will stay with us," the Leicester boss told reporters.

Talksport earlier reported that both PSG and United are interested in the Algerian.

Southampton boss Ronald Koeman has said that his club is not interested in the signing of Porto winger Juan Quintero in the January transfer window, Sportsmole reports. The 22-year old is currently on loan at Ligue1 side Rennes.

The Dutch manager told the reporters, "We don't need midfielders, so no. I'm very happy with the players we have.

"I can't say it's 100% because it's football, but it's unlikely that we'll have new players in January. It's an important line in your team, to have good ball possession, and I'm happy with the balance there in our squad. It's always the most difficult decision, who plays in midfield."

Wolfsburg defender Dante has said that he would like to play in a big club like Chelsea one day. The Brazilian was answering questions from FIFA’s official twitter handle where he expressed his desire to play for the London-based club. Here’s the tweet,
