Halloween mood took over the world like a tsunami over the weekend and the WWE Universe wasn’t any exception. The fans and the wrestler seem to have had a lot of fun at the Halloween special edition of SmackDown which lived up to its theme almost perfectly. However, Halloween is much more exciting for a child than it is for an adult (there are exceptions though). We’ve had many scary situations in our childhood while watching WWE programming and just like the ordinary fans; wrestlers also had their pick from childhood memories. With the Halloween feel still alive, here is a look into the personal life of WWE Superstars and what scared them most when they were young.

#7 Paige doesnt have good memories about Kane

Growing up in a wrestling family, Paige knew how the Wrestling business functioned. Despite this, she had a scary spot for the big red monster.

The former divas champion was afraid of Kane’s mask and mentioned the matches between Kane and Undertaker as petrifying. Also, she has nightmares about how Kane used to drag people through the ring and even went on to check under her bed several times.

If messing up her childhood wasn’t enough, Paige experienced the dragging scenario first hand a few months ago when she was having a match with Brie Bella and Brie almost got dragged into ‘hell’ by the big red monster.

Papa Shango might not be going down in the history books as a Hall of Fame character but he was clearly one of the scariest ones. He poked up during the early 90s where Wrestling was pretty much cartoonish and went on to have some memorable outings with the Ultimate Warrior.

Those outings actually used to scare Kofi Kingston and Hornswoggle. Kingston scariest incident with Shango was where Shango put the hex on Warrior making green slime to pop out of the Warrior’s face.

Ultimate Warrior was the favorites wrestler of Hornswoggle as well and this made him scared to death when Warrior starting vomiting under the voodoo spell of Papa Shango who was tagged as the scariest wrestler by the former cruiser weight champion.

Before Sami Zayn became an Indy darling, he was a loyal wrestling fan who found the world of professional wrestling amusing.

Zayn’s scariest moment in childhood came during 1991 edition of SummerSlam where Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts and Undertaker decided to crash the wedding of Randy Savage and Miss. Elizabeth with the cobra that came in the gift box.

He was seven years when he saw the segment and things didn’t go well for little Zayn. The snake causing chaos around the crowded area is a moment worth keeping for the archives while Zayn wouldn’t mind doing anything to get that memory out of his system.

#4 Zack on the other hand loved the snake

Zack Ryder may not be getting enough time to show off his skills in between the ropes but the former United States champion does know how to pick a scary memory.

Back in his childhood, Ryder had a love for Jake Robert’s snake, Damien. He adored the snake for some reason or the other so when the 500 pound Earthquake decided to squash Damien, Ryder got the chills down his spine.

Ryder had a rubber toy of the Snake and when Earthquake squished the snake in the middle of the ring, the toy all of a sudden seemed like it was dead because of that big frame coming down with all its weight like that.

For those out there who doesn’t have a habit of remembering the doomed stables, Dungeon of Doom was the creation of WCW creative team during the late 90s.

It had the lights of Kamala, The Giant (aka Big Show), Big Van Vader, the Yeti plus a lot more of those colorful cartoon characters and to control all these scary guys there was this Taskmaster who was played by Kevin Sullivan.

Big E has memories of hiding behind the couch whenever the Dungeon of doom appears on the television during his childhood and the one that scared him most was the Taskmaster who knew how to scare the hell out of a child.

For the new generation fans, Edge and Christian might just be two guys who appeared in some ABC show, but those who followed wrestling from the early days would know that they are two of the most decorated names in the business.

Edge and Christian started out in the main roster as part of the Brood which was a stable led by Gangrel who played a vampire gimmick. From walking through a ring of fire to spitting out blood, Brood did many things which were scary.

Xavier Woods found all of those antics the same and thought it was creepy when the trio used to come out of the fire.

#1 Natalya wasnt afraid of ghosts, she was afraid of her family

Now, no one is going to argue about the legendary status of the Hart Family. The professional wrestling business would’ve been a lot different if it wasn’t for the Harts and the plethora of talent that they produced.

While all the superstars on the list were scared of some gimmicks or characters, Natalya stood out in style by saying she was afraid of having dinner with her family.

If you thought that the Hart House was only scary for young superstars, well think again, their dinner is equally scary. Natalya’s grandfather, Stu Hart had the habit of being a bit too adventurous at times and that included bringing in a bear into the house since it was to be used on one of the shows.

Also, Stu had a habit of scooping out cat poop from the litter box and even using it as spatula for egg on occasions.
