Bret celebrates the victory

After seeing Hulk Hogan in the main event of WrestleMania for 9 long years, the WWE fans finally got a chance to see someone else in the main event for the first time at WrestleMania 10.

This time it was Bret Hart fighting Yokozuna for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. Roddy Piper was the special guest referee in this match. Mr. Fuji and Jim Cornette accompanied Yokozuna and they came into the match on many occasions and tried to disturb the proceedings. Roddy Piper countered the negative elements and ensured that the match was fair.

It was Yokozuna's own mistakes that led to his destruction in this match. He made a failed attempt for a 'Banzai Drop' and fell on the mat. Hart quickly capitalized on this and pinned the champion for the win. After the match, there was a big celebration from Hart and he was accompanied by other backstage wrestlers.
