#6 Honorable Mention: Jericho takes down Goldberg

Goldberg

Goldberg might look intimidating and all in the first view, but Jericho once proved that size does not matter. Goldberg started spreading rumors about Jericho after joining WWE and when Jericho got to know about this, he confronted Goldberg. One thing led to another and within no time, the two began fighting.

#5 Getting locked out like Mr. Bean

Chris Jericho

When you become the Undisputed WWE champion for the first time, it calls for a celebration doesn’t it? Jericho had similar things in his mind, but unfortunately for him, it did not go as planned. First, most of his co-workers left early the night he won the title. And Jericho arrived late at his hotel and did not get any food there either.

He had to order pizza from outside and when the pizza came, the pizza boy reminded Jericho that their policy did not allow pizza to be delivered to the room. This forced Jericho to come down to the lobby from his room. He collected the Pizza and when he went back to the room, Jericho realized that he had kept the keys inside the room.

Mr. Bean type mess up right?

He had to argue all night with the hotel staff to get the key and while waiting, Jericho ate the cold pizza in the Hotel lobby, alone. First day as WWE Champion, ladies, and gentlemen.

#4 When Quentin Tarantino bored Chris Jericho

Quentin Tarantino

Who would miss a chance to see a movie with Quentin Tarantino? Probably no one, but it is not as awesome as it sounds. Jericho was at the party at Eli Roths house and Jericho got invited to a private screening room where Western Movies were shown. Jericho accepted the offer immediately when he heard that Tarantino was there. I mean, who would say no to spending some time with the director of films like Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, and many other cult classics.

So, Jericho got into the room and started seeing the film with Tarantino. However, the Hollywood director went on to bore Jericho with some questions and talked throughout the film. Tarantino was basically showing how good he is with Western Movies but Jericho was not impressed and he mentioned this in his book as well.

Mickey Rourke and Chris Jericho

Mickey Rourke’s performance in ‘The Wrestler’ earned him praise from the wrestling business. In an attempt to strengthen his relation, Rourke decided to show up at WrestleMania 25. Rourke was supposed to be involved in a segment with Chris Jericho and for promoting the appearance; both men appeared in the Larry King Live Show on CNN.

Jericho decided to stay in character for the same and came across as arrogant. Rourke thought that Jericho was a legitimate jerk and waited with three bodyguards to meet Jericho on the night before WrestleMania. Jericho tried explaining, but at first, Rourke found it hard to trust due to the way in which the Larry King Show went. Jericho eventually managed to convince the actor and avoided a big showdown with former boxer turned award-winning actor.

#2 HER

Chris Jericho

Jericho’s first book is filled with some excellent road stories. Once, Jericho arrived at the airport late for his flight. He did not want to miss the flight and was in a rush. The guards, however, were in a different mood. They were slow in checking his luggage and when they found a wrestling championship in his bag, the guard started wearing it around his waist and wasted more time.

Jericho was obviously frustrated and started swearing at the guards. Just then, he felt a hand on his back and in his own words:

“I turned around and gave its owner a solid push to the chest, causing her to fall down. That’s right...HER. I’d shoved a female guard and she’d fallen hard to the floor. “Oh shit...here we go,” I thought,” Jericho wrote in his book.

He was rescued by wrestler Tonga from the chaos, but it was a funny story.

#1 Kissing the Undertaker is hard

Undertaker and Chris Jericho

Jericho has great respect for Undertaker. He has always found time to praise the Phenom with the most notable example coming during the 2010 Elimination Chamber where Undertaker burnt his face due to a pyro failure. Taker continued the match despite the burns and earned more respect from Jericho.

No, this is not why Jericho wanted to kiss Taker. Jericho wanted to kiss Taker after getting drunk in Tokyo. Taker and Jericho had a three-hour drinking session in a Tokyo Bar. Jericho was constantly trying to kiss Taker on the mouth, but Taker refused. Finally, after all those painful struggles, Undertaker allowed Jericho to kiss on the cheeks.
