And this, in particular, has given us a lot of memorable momentums involving Austin and beer.Whenever a wrestling fan gets cans of beer in his hand, he will pull off a Steve Austin impression because the Texas Rattlesnake was simply iconic. The archives have a lot of such instances, and here is a look at some of the best beer moments involving Steve Austin.

#8 Beer contest 1.0

Matt Harding toasting Steve Austin

2007 SummerSlam saw a great beer moment of Steve Austin. It all started when MVP challenged Matt Hardy to a beer drinking contest. Hardy was not in a mood to take part in the challenge but named a perfect replacement in the form of Steve Austin. Austin came into the ring and mocked MVP by doing some warm up exercises.

And instead of going on to have a fair contest with MVP, Austin simply gave a stunner to MVP and walked away in style. It was his strong association with beer that bought him out and at the end of the day, the fans got to see a great insult from the Texas Rattlesnake.

#7 Legends and Beer

There aren’t many wrestlers in the business that could live up to the achievements of Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan. So whenever these two shared a screen together, it was bound to be awesome. And if they are sharing a beer in that shared screen (too many shares in one line), then things are more exciting for the fans.

One legend enacting the other another made the fans go wild. Hogan had a couple of beer drinking moments with Steve Austin afterwards as well, but this one probably stands out as one of the best. Even if WWE pulls this moment off in the latest episode of Raw, it is bound to make the fans happy.

#6 John Cena gets some attitude

John Cena is the face of WWE for PG Era. He is projected as the ultimate role model for kids. But when you are sharing a screen with Steve Austin, it is pretty hard to keep that image intact. This is what happened when John Cena and Austin crossed paths on June 6, 2011, edition of Monday Night Raw.

Austin made a name for himself in the Attitude Era drinking beers when Cena was not seen drinking on screen as it was something against his image. All that changed when Austin and Cena had a beer bash on Raw. It was a torch passing moment to an extent. Or should we call it a beer passing moment?

#5 Santino gets a lesson

When you are a professional wrestler, it is important to give a certain amount of respect for veterans. Santino Marella learned this the hard way in 2007. Santino and Maria came out during November 5, 2007, edition of Monday Night Raw. They went on to insult the director of ‘The Condemned’ which forced Steve Austin to come out.

Austin gave Santino a stunner after some talking and went back only to come back later with a beer truck. He hosed down Santino with beer but what the fans really wanted to see was Maria getting the same. Austin did not disappoint and gave Maria a beer bath as well.

#4 Dead man sharing a beer

Undertaker has done a lot of weird stuff during his career and teaming up with Steve Austin was one of them. Back in the late 90s, they won the title by defeating Kane and Mankind. Undertaker and Steve Austin had a two-month tag title reign. There were some standout points during that reign, but the most impressive one had to be the beer celebration.

Austin and Undertaker shared a beer after a successful defense of the championship and it was a moment worth remembering. The dead man gulping down beer was unprecedented. The awkwardness between the champions made the whole thing look extra special. It is not every day you see Undertaker drink beer.

#3 No one beats Austin in Beer drinking

Having a beer drinking contest against Steve Austin is probably the worst idea out there. JBL, however, was not aware of this. The beer drinking contest between Austin and JBL happened on March 5, 2006, edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. It started off cleanly but as it went by, JBL started pouring the beer down his cloth.

Austin was not impressed with the way in which JBL cheated and went on to gift JBL a stone cold stunner. Austin then went on to have his trademark beer bash celebration over a laid out JBL. So there is a lesson for everyone: never challenge Stone Cold Steve Austin into a beer drinking contest.

#2 Steve Austin sharing beer with legends

At WrestleMania 30, WWE pulled off an excellent segment where three of WWE’s greatest legends combined. Hulk Hogan, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Steve Austin were seen inside one ring. After some regular chit chat and putting over the network, the trio concluded the segment in typical Steve Austin style.

Austin ordered beers from the ringside and just like that, the fans got to see an iconic WrestleMania moment. All three legends were having a beer in the middle, fortunately, no one got a taste of the stunner that day as Austin was in a good mood. Any other day, and it would have been a different story.

#1 Beer bath

You might have heard about beauty baths that make use of all those different products, but have you ever given a thought to beer bath? The Rock, Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon experienced this firsthand courtesy of Steve Austin. The year was 1999 and the McMahons were interviewing Rock in an episode of Monday Night Raw.

Just when things were going normal, Steve Austin drove a beer truck into the arena. And if this was not enough, he started spraying beer at McMahons and Rock. It was a great moment to witness and Austin capped off the moment in style with a middle finger salute to the Brahma Bull.
