Raw had a lot going on and two title matches were set. One was a rematch and one was a Battle Royal. It's easy to guess who was at odds of defending their title.While there were certainly great matches and great moments, there was nothing new about it. Neither did the feuds moving forward seemed special and Paige was absent. But there were some things that looked promising. Here they are-
#1 Kane\'s final Hurrah?
If these are the final few days or months for Kane then he seems to be ending them on a high. It's great to see WWE playing up those segments that live up to the legend of Kane but But BUT Brie Bella's screams and both Bryan and Brie's mediocre acring just mellowed things down. Remember when AJ Lee gave that CM Punk-like promo? Brie Bella's rants quite audible and annoying. If only, she could turn it down a little bit.
#2 Adam Rose\'s debut
It's borderline promising. The crowd was a bore not Adam Rose. He can either be the next great or the next Fandango or Funkasaurus. But for now, let's not be a lemon, let's be a rosebud. The spark needs to be reignited. The spark that his entrance has on NXT. Otherwise he'll be on the jobber list soon. Anyway, it seems the Raw roster is seeing a fresh makeover with all the NXT Arrivals.
#3 New US Champ
Dean Ambrose's loss has probably been written into the Authority storyline and that migh mean that Sheamus might soon join hands with the Authority. MIGHT. If the reports of him turning heel soon get proven in the coming weeks, this might turn into a good news for the US Title. Sheamus is a bigger superstar who the WWE management certainly believes in. Atleast he hasn't been buried even once, for a splitsecond, ever.
#4 More Bad News
Bad News Barrett and Big E had another great match and the IC title, for now, looks to be in good hands. And it seems like whenever WWE decides to go to the UK, Barrett and Paige will carru the pride on their shoulders.
Barrett seems to eb in a much better position and he plays his gimmick with great dedication and all the while it seems like fun. His charisma might just bring better days for the IC title.
#5 The Dependables
If you have absolutely nothing new to provide which was the case with most of Raw tonight, just bring Wyatts and the Shield for a match and you are sure to end the night on a high. The Evolution attack was nothing special but it was done after a stellar battle. Wyatts have never lost to teh Shield but that does not matter. Shield lost nothing. They are as badass as they've ever been.
