WWE SummerSlam 2014 : 3 Possible Endings for Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins Lumberjack match

The bout between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins was arguably the most anticipated match of Battleground. WWE however saved this golden goose for SummerSlam and worked it into a much bigger angle with the delayed time they had.Unlike the other matches in the card, this one would be aided by a stipulation which Ambrose announced on this weeks SmackDown. While many expected a possible street fight or a No Holds Barred match, the Lunatic Fringe went with a lumberjack match which further added a layer to his character. The curiosity levels for the match are on an all-time high after such an unexpected stipulation, so here is a look at the possible endings.

#3 The Heel Jacks

For the people who aren’t aware about the Lumberjack stipulations, the ring would be surrounded by superstars from the roster with Ambrose and Rollins fighting it out between the ropes.

Usually, the company has a fair share of heel and face superstars among the lumberjacks however since Rollins is closely associated with the Authority, the chances of him getting an upper hand over Ambrose before the match starts is likely.

Hunter could fill the lumber jacks with heel superstars that would work against Ambrose getting a win. The screwy ending for the match and letting Rollins win would only improve the face momentum that Ambrose has at this point.

Also this helps the company to push the angle forward to their next pay-per-view rather than concluding it at the first match itself.

#2 A disappointing outing for the fans

The WWE have been always fond of disappointing their fans at big occasions like this and despite all the hype that is going into this match, only an idiotic random move would be enough for everything to crash and burn.

And at SummerSlam, the way in which WWE can make a mess would be to let Rollins win the match clean.

Ambrose is coming into the match as the most over face in the roster and killing his momentum would cost the creative team. Rollins on the other hand has the Money in the Bank briefcase in his hands which is sure to keep him relevant.

It is Ambrose who needs a win desperately to back up everything that he has done so far and the company not giving him that would ensure a bad outing for the fans.

#1 Lunatic gone wild

After the Shield broke up, Ambrose was successful in establishing a deep character on his own while Roman Reigns and Rollins was pretty much rooted to the regular one dimensional gimmicks that we see every day.

Ambrose went out there, did things that no one did, and said things that even surpassed the promos that Bray Wyatt pulls off.

He earned himself the tag of being a lunatic and the stipulation he chose turned out to be a part of the entire character.

With the lumberjacks in place, one thing that could be expected is Ambrose running havoc and the match ending in a no contest.

When the outside interference gets out of hand, he could grab a chair from somewhere and knock everyone out and be the last man standing. Rollins could run away while Ambrose is doing all these which lets WWE to progress this feud to another chapter.
