The Tag team division was arguably the back bone of WWE programming before they struck gold with the Daniel Bryan’s struggle against Authority. Since then, the division has been in a downward spiral but got a great boost in the form of Miz and Mizdow.The duo being immensely over among the WWE Universe attracted more eyeballs to the otherwise dead tag team championship scenario and WWE will be looking to bank on this at TLC.Miz and Mizdow will face off against the Usos at the pay-per-view and though the reign has been young, the match is incredibly hard to predict. How WWE decides to end the match will have a great impact on both teams and here are the options they have in hand.
#3 Curse of the Total Diva
The creative team has been trying to mix the Total Divas storylines with the WWE programming for a long time now. Some found its purpose while some others ended up being a big disappointment.
Their latest attempt to meet the two ends features Jimmy Uso, Naomi and the Tag team championship. It certainly sounds like a weird combination but Naomi deserves to get some spotlight on her for the hard work she has been putting into her career.
This friction between Jimmy and Miz over Naomi also adds a great subplot for the whole feud and this same thing could work against the Usos.
Jimmy being too much careful about his wife could cost the brothers their match in the end. This could also go down as the sparking moment for the eventual split up between Jey and Jimmy.
#2 Mizdow steals the show
Mizdow is the one who the fans want to see, period. Sandow was given a gimmick that was destined to doom and instead of just letting that happen, he morphed that opportunity into a career changer.
He has transformed into the most entertaining character in the WWE at the moment and it also gives Sandow some great television time which he deserves. WWE has been narrating the story well so far as it is Mizdow who does all the work to win matches.
Miz is often seen taking the easy way out and leave his partner take the beating. This might be the case at TLC as well. However, if Mizdow ends up winning the championship on his own, it will be a great story.
An ending like this might bury Usos a bit but it will clearly raise the stock of Mizdow in the business which is what the company wants in the first place.
#1 Seeds for the break up
Following up from the last point, the association between Miz and Mizdow is eventually going to come to an end. The fans would love to see the latter getting pushed after the same but knowing WWE, the exact opposite might happen.
But one thing we can be sure of is the break up that will happen. WWE needs to sow the seeds for the split pretty soon and the first step would be to let them drop the championship.
Usos getting a win after Miz and Mizdow miscommunicating would do the job. With the weight of the titles lifted off their back, the duo could then complete the phase at Royal Rumble which is the perfect stage for such angles.
This could then be worked into a match at WrestleMania where the faith of Sandow’s WWE career would be sealed and hopefully the company would make the right decision.
