Best NBA Team Bets for Tonight: Milwaukee Bucks, Memphis Grizzlies, and Philadelphia 76ers

Milwaukee Bucks v Memphis Grizzlies
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Ja Morant

The 2022-2023 NBA season continues on Monday, October 31st, with 14 teams set to take the court. Let's take a look at three strong team beats, including the Milwaukee Bucks, Memphis Grizzlies, and Philadelphia 76ers.

Best NBA Team Bet #1: Milwaukee Bucks -13 (-110)

At 5-0, the Milwaukee Bucks are the only NBA team that remains undefeated. While the Bucks offense has struggled without Khris Middleton, they have been the best defensively. Milwaukee currently ranks first in the league in both opponent points per game and defensive rating.

Despite a victory over a struggling Golden State Warriors team last night, the Detroit Pistons have been bad to start the season, particularly on defense. The 2-5 Pistons rank 28th in opponent points per game and 29th in defensive rating. Offensively, they haven't been much better, ranking 22nd in points per game and 21st in offensive rating. Look for Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks to take advantage of Detroit's defense while shutting down their struggling offense. Expect the Bucks to win by at least 14 points.

Best Team Bet #2: Memphis Grizzlies -2 (-115)

The Utah Jazz have been one of the biggest surprises in the NBA thus far. After trading away most of their top talent, including All-Stars Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, the Jazz haven't missed a beat, sitting at 5-2 to begin the season. While they haven't been blowing teams out, they have found a way to win. The Jazz are coming off a one-point victory over the 4-2 Memphis Grizzlies. However, the Grizzlies were without star point guard Ja Morant. With Morant likely to return on Monday, expect the Grizzlies to bounce back and win by at least 3 points.

Best Team Bet #3: Philadelphia 76ers -3.5 (-115)

The Philadelphia 76ers were one of the NBA's biggest disappointments to start the season. Expected to compete for the NBA title, the 76ers started the season at just 1-4. They have bounced back, however, winning their last two games.

The Washington Wizards have been on the opposite trajectory. After starting 3-1, Washington enters this matchup coming off of back-to-back losses. Facing a 76ers team that has seemingly figured things out, look for the Wizards to drop their third straight game. Expect Philadelphia to win by at least four points.
