Atlanta Falcons v Cincinnati Bengals

The Carolina Panthers will head to Cincinnati on Sunday afternoon to take on the Bengals in a non-conference matchup.

Both teams are coming off emotional losses and are looking to improve as the Panthers are last in the NFC South with a 2-6 record while the Bengals are 4-4, which is good for second in the AFC North.

Carolina Panthers vs. Cincinnati Bengals Best Picks

Joe Burrow is coming off a tough game in which he threw for 232 yards against the Cleveland Browns, but this Panthers' secondary is not as skilled as the Browns were.

This is another week to implement the offense without wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase as he recovers from injury. Burrow completes passes extremely well but needs to make sure he can throw the ball down the field for more than his 6.6 yards per attempt last week.

He's averaging 337.7 yards per game in his last three weeks so this should be a good bet.

Joe Burrow Over 256.5 Passing Yards (-115)

This feels like a lock as running back Chuba Hubbard has already been ruled out for this game and D'Onta Foreman is going to get the starting running back role for the Panthers.

The result really depends on how long Carolina can stay in this game as they will give Foreman his touches. Last week, he ran 28 times for 118 yards against the Atlanta Falcons, so the increased confidence should see him get more involvement in the offense.

D'Onta Foreman Over 69.5 Rushing Yards (-120)

Carolina Panthers vs. Cincinnati Bengals Prediction

I'm not one to buy into must-wins or anything of the sort, but Cincinnati needs this game against an inferior opponent to prove they are better than their .500 record. Carolina is not as good as their third-string running back and quarterback at the start of the season are now starting in this game.

Cincinnati has to learn how to get open without Chase on the field and they should do that here and win by double digits to breathe a sigh of relief after a bad loss on Monday Night Football.

Pick: Cincinnati Bengals -7.5 (+100)
