Statistically, the Colts have one of the worst offenses in the NFL. Their offensive line has been terrible, their run game has struggled, and they've turned the ball over more than any other team in the entire league, including five times last game. Running back Jonathan Taylor had a rough start to the year, and he dealt with some injuries, but he's been better over the last few weeks. Michael Pittman Jr. leads the way with 755 receiving yards, and rookie wideout Alec Pierce has been a bright spot, previously racking up 86 yards against Dallas to up his season total to 510. The main issue has been turnovers for Indianapolis, as Matt Ryan has thrown 13 interceptions, and on top of that, the team has lost 14 fumbles.
Minnesota has a lot of offensive weapons, but there is still room for improvement. QB Kirk Cousins has been steady for the Vikings for many years now, and although his yards per attempt have dropped off significantly, he's reliable under center. His main target Justin Jefferson is arguably the best receiver in the NFL, and he currently leads the league with 1,500 receiving yards. His 99 catches are second, and week in and week out, he forces opposing defenses to make adjustments. Running back Dalvin Cook looks to notch his fourth straight 1,000-yard rushing season on Saturday as the Florida State product enters this game with 950 total yards. The Colts' defense overall is pretty mediocre, and against Dallas, they were terrible, so we'll see if Minnesota can put them on their heels early.
