The 2022-2023 NBA season continues on Tuesday (November 1) with just eight teams set to play.

On that note, let's take a look at three team bets for tonight's action, including the Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets and Phoenix Suns.

Best NBA Team Bet #1: Golden State Warriors ML (-105)

Fresh off of winning the NBA championship last season, the Golden State Warriors have struggled this camopaign.

After finishing last season third in opponents points per game and first in defensive rating, the Warriors rank 30th and 23rd in the two categories respectively. While they have scored the most points per game in the league, their offensive rating ranks just 18th. Despite Steph Curry's elite play, the Warriors are 3-4 on the season.

Their opponents, the Miami Heat, have fared worse, after finishing last season with the Eastern Conference's best record. The Heat are 2-5, in large part due to a struggling offense that ranks 26th in points per game and 23rd in offensive rating. Miami's top-five defense from last season has floundered as well, ranking 11th in opponents points per game and 19th in defensive rating.

This will be the two teams' second meeting in less than a week, with Golden State emerging victorious in their first matchup. Look for the Warriors to beat Miami for the second time in five days.

Best NBA Team Bet #2: Brooklyn Nets -2 (-110)

The Brooklyn Nets have not lived up to expectations this season. After a 2-5 start, the Nets have fired coach Steve Nash.

While Ben Simmons was expected to help improve their defense, that has not been the case in the early going.

The Nets rank 28th in opponents points per game and 30th in defensive rating. They will, however, be facing a Chicago Bulls team that has gone 3-4 on the season. Look for the Nets to come out motivated under acting coach Jacque Vaughn and win by at least three points.

Best NBA Team Bet #3: Phoenix Suns -3.5 (-110)

The Phoenix Suns have been one of the best teams in the NBA on both sides of the ball.

The Suns' offense ranks second in points per game and first in offensive rating, while their defense is third in opponents points per game and fourth in defensive rating. Their two-way play has been reflected in their 5-1 season record.

Their opponents, the Minnesota Timberwolves, have struggled to a 4-3 record. Their trip to Phoenix will be their toughest test of the early season, as they have not yet faced a title contender. Look for Phoenix to continue their early season success by winning this matchup by at least four points.
