Karlovic turned pro in 2000 and won a total of eight titles in his career. Unfortunately, he was never able to win an ATP 500 or a Masters 1000 as well. He reached a career-high ranking of 14 in 2008 and also holds the distinction of having a superior head-to-head record against Novak Djokovic(2-1).

At the age of 39 now, the 2019 season might be his last.

He has been playing since 2001 and has produced some great moments on the court in his career. He will always be remembered for his epic encounter with Rafael Nadal at the 2009 Australian Open semi-final, which he ended up losing in 5 grueling sets.

Overall, he won 7 titles in his career and reached a career-high ranking of 7. He was also a part of Spain's Davis Cup winning team on three occasions and played a big role in each of their wins.
