In what has been the most successful tournament in his career in terms of titles and matches won, Novak Djokovic won his 5th title at the Australian Open following a four-set win over Andy Murray in 2015.

It made the then 27-year-old Serb the first player in the Open Era to win 5 titles at the tournament, breaking a tie with Andre Agassi and Roger Federer in the process.

Djokovic won further titles at the Australian Open in 2016, 2019, and 2020, the latter success making the Serb the first player in the Open Era to lift Grand Slam titles in three different decades.

Having won his first Masters 1000 title at 2007 Miami, Djokovic followed up with further success at the tournament in 2011-12 and 2014-16.

The Serb's title run in 2015 marked the third time he lifted 5 titles at a tournament. The process also allowed him to break a tie with Roger Federer for most 'Sunshine Double' - winning Indian Wells and Miami in the same season.

With a 6th Miami title in 2016, Djokovic became the first player to accomplish the Sunshine Double in three consecutive seasons.
