On Thursday, the likes of Miomir Kecmanovic and Dominic Thiem advanced to the last eight, while three seeds — Ben Shelton, Hubert Hurkacz and Roberto Bautista Agut — fell by the wayside.

It could be a close match, but expect the higher-ranked Kecmanovic to take this first-time matchup.

The two players are yet to meet on Tour, but expect Thiem to win due to his superior claycourt pedigree.

#4 Casper Ruud (Estoril top seed) vs Sebastian Baez
