Andre Agassi spoke about partnering with his wife Steffi Graf after the two teamed up for an exhibition match in Cluj. The they took on the Romanian duo of Simona Halep and Andrei Pavel.

Graf and Agassi are two of the greatest tennis players of all time with a combined total of 30 Grand Slam singles titles. He won the US Open twice while having a Wimbledon and French Open title to his name.

Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf got married in 2001 and are parents to two children, Jaden and Jaz Elle.

The couple attended the Cluj Sports Festival in Cluj, Romania, and were part of an exhibition match, where they faced Halep and Pavel. After the match, Agassi answered a few questions, one of which was about teaming up with Steffi Graf for a tennis match.

The American said that he could not think of a better partner than the German.

"I can't think of a better partner, how about that?" Agassi said.

Andre Agassi partnered Michael Chang in the inaugural edition of the Pickleball Slam in 2023, where they triumphed over Andy Roddick and John McEnroe.

This year, the eight-time Grand Slam champion competed in the event with his wife Steffi Graf. Speaking ahead of the Pickleball Slam 2, the German was asked about changing from tennis to pickleball, and she responded by saying that she was still trying to "unlearn" tennis. Graf said that while her mind knew what she was doing, her body had no intention to let go of the tennis mindset.

“Goodness, I’m still trying to unlearn (tennis)” . Graf said as quoted by Sports Illustrated. “I have not had an easy time. I want to move around. I want to hit the ball. I don’t want to slow down and be patient, waiting for the right moment to attack. I tend to want to keep my feet moving. That’s what I learned in tennis. My mind knows what I should be doing, but my body is not quite ready to let that tennis mind go.”

While Steffi Graf's only tennis involvement of any sort came in Cluj, her husband Andre Agassi recently became the captain of Team World in the Laver Cup.
