Recently crowned World No.1 Carlos Alcaraz has taken time out of his title-winning schedule to spend time with puppies who are up for adoption as part of the Miami Open Unites initiative.

The third installment of the Miami Open Unites saw various ATP and WTA players coming together to partner with organizations in Miami and spend a day serving the local community. Some of the activities included cooking meals, building homes and planting saplings.

As a part of the initiative, Carlos Alcaraz spent time with puppies from the Miami Humane Society who are up for adoption. He also showcased his love for dogs, stating that he too had a dog while growing up and loves to spend time with them.

"I have a little dog at home so I love to spend time with them I love it, when I was little, you know a little kid, I was, I had a big dog so I love them" Alcaraz said.

The ATP Tour's official Twitter account posted a video of Alcaraz spending time with the puppies.

"Carlos + pups what more could you ask for! @carlosalcaraz was off winning a title last week, but was able to catch up with Miami Humane Society pups on site!" ATP captioned the video.
