Carlos Alcaraz debuting a new haircut ahead of the 2024 French Open has drawn hilariously dismayed reactions from tennis fans. Many have called out the Spaniard's barber for his styling choices.

After struggling with a right forearm injury throughout the European claycourt season, Alcaraz was forced to skip the Italian Open to recover from a muscle edema in his "pronator teres."

With the French Open fast approaching, the 21-year-old recently began training in earnest for his return to the court, practicing under the watchful eyes of his coach Juan Carlos Ferrero at the latter's academy in Spain.

The World No. 3 also paid a visit to his barber, debuting a fresh new look in time for the claycourt Major. The Spaniard showed off his new hairstyle, featuring a buzzed cut on the sides.

Tennis fans were left dismayed by the new look, hilariously calling out Carlos Alcaraz's barber for his "crimes."

"Death, taxes and charlie’s barber committing mini crimes before every slam," one fan commented.
"VICTOR WHEN I CATCH YOU," another fan chimed in.
"Someone has to stage an intervention omg….," said another.

One fan joked that the Spaniard wouldn't win another Grand Slam title until he reverted to the "caveman" look he sported during his triumph at Wimbledon last year.

"Carlos will not win another slam until he brings back the caveman look," the jan wrote.

Other fans, meanwhile, expressed relief that Carlos Alcaraz's hairstyle is likely to grow out by the time his first match at the French Open rolled around.

"We knew it was coming we knew it but good thing will be fine by the time of his first match," one fan posted.
"More like 5 days😭 it's actually insane how fast his hair grows in so jealous," another fan commented.
"Every time he visits this barber, i self soothe by thinking of how thick & fast his hair grows, Carlos will be back looking like a cute koala by the 2nd week of RG 😊," said yet another.

The 21-year-old emphasized that winning even a single title at Roland Garros would be "amazing," expressing his determination to turn this dream into reality.
