World No. 1 Iga Swiatek has consistently performed well on the tour and has established utter dominance in women's tennis. However, her dominance has often been interpreted as the Pole having it "easy."

The three-time Grand Slam singles winner recently reflected on such comments and stated that she is immune to those comments.

Currently plying her trade at the Dubai Tennis Championships, the Polish tennis star has been in fine form since the round of 32. In the semifinals, she beat Coco Gauff, 6-4, 6-2, to seal a spot in the finals of the tournament.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Iga Swiatek was informed about people undermining her dominance by saying, "Iga has it easy," to which the Pole said that she generally stays away from social media.

"I don't really hear that a lot because during the tournaments I'm kind of trying to stay off social media as much as possible. I'm posting my stuff. It's not like I'm reading a lot," Swiatek said.

Iga Swiatek further added that she couldn't care less about these comments. She also spoke about the unpredictability of tennis as a sport and how no one can ever tell why or what has happened.

"Honestly, I don't mind that they're saying if it looks easy or not. I know that it's never easy. If somebody wins also with a great score, it's not like.... Tennis is such a complicated sport that you're never going to know why or what happened. I feel like if you work hard and you give 100% on every match, your chances are going to come," Swiatek stated.

The two-time French Open winner continued by stating that she is ready for the next match for which she is motivated and concentrated.

"So I'm pretty glad that I can play dominant tennis right now, but I'm really ready for every match and I'm really concentrated and motivated. I think if I wouldn't be, I would just have different score. It's just work, so yeah," Swiatek added.
