Martina Navratilova opened up about her thoughts on the public feud between the US President, Donald Trump, and Elon Musk. Musk has been politically associated with Trump since the 2024 presidential elections.

The clash between the two started when the Tesla owner took a dig at the Republican spending bill by calling it a 'disgusting abomination.' Following this, Trump made his feelings known about Musk's statement, stating that he was disappointed in him.

The President revealed that Musk was upset because the bill cut out a tax credit that was meant to induce electric vehicle purchases. Along with this, Trump also suggested that the US government could cut its ties with Musk's businesses. Following this, things took a personal turn as the richest man alleged a link between Donald Trump and the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Musk shared the statement on X that read:

"Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!"

This dissension between the two caught the attention of the former tennis player Martina Navratilova, who is also known for boldly voicing her political opinions on social media. Making her feelings known about Musk's claim, she dropped a three-word reaction on X, sharing a snapshot of the Tesla owner's tweet.

"Ooh la la," wrote Martina Navratilova.

Martina Navratilova takes a dig at Donald Trump calling him a fascist

Martina Navratilova never shies away from voicing her opinions against the US President, Donald Trump. Recently, she was seen in a lengthy conversation with an X user, who claimed Trump wasn't a fascist, stating that he fought in Vietnam and was aware of what fascism is.

Showcasing respect for the user's service in Vietnam, Navratilova stated her point about Trump being a fascist by revealing that her grandparents and parents also lived through two wars. She wrote:

"I grew up in Europe. My parents and grandparents lived through two wars. I also recognize a fascist- and trump is doing everything that fascists were doing prior to WWII. So there is that. And I thank you for your service!" wrote Martina Navratilova.

The former tennis player originally belonged to Martina Subertiva in Prague, Czechoslovakia, and is a dual citizen, as she was stripped of Czechoslovakian citizenship in 1975. Following this, she looked for temporary residence in the US and became a US citizen in 1981. After 27 years, Navratilova got her citizenship back in 2008.
