Former tennis player John Isner recently predicted a timeline for Novak Djokovic's potential 25th Grand Slam title. The former World No. 8 American further reflected on Djokovic's chances to win his unprecedented major this year.
Novak Djokovic is one of the most decorated players in the history of the sport, having accumulated numerous accolades and records throughout his career. In the 2008 Beijing Olympics, he won the bronze medal in men's singles and went on to win a gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics. He maintained his World No. 1 ranking for a record 428 weeks across thirteen different years.
Furthermore, Djokovic has clinched a record-making 72 Big Titles, capturing 40 ATP Masters tournaments, a record seven ATP Finals, and 24 Grand Slam singles titles, a record he shares with Margaret Court. No player has reached the No. 25 mark in singles majors but according to Isner, the Serbian has two more chances to make it happen.
John Isner recently appeared on the Broadcast Boys show by Lucas Brody and Nelson Vergara. He predicted that Djokovic's 25th Grand Slam title is likely to come this year. Isner mentioned,
"Man...I am gonna say under, but I hope I'm wrong. In my mind, he has two chances, it's Wimbledon or US Open this year. Feel like it has to happen this year."
Novak Djokovic's 24 Grand Slam titles are composed of ten Australian Open, seven Wimbledon, four US Open, and three French Open triumphs. He has won multiple awards, including the Arthur Ashe Humanitarian of the Year Award in 2012, and eight ITF World Champion titles.
Novak Djokovic reflects on his gratitude for the audience at the 2025 French Open

Novak Djokovic, who is considered the greatest player of tennis, suffered a semi-final loss to World No. 1 Jannik Sinner in the 2025 French Open. During his interview on June 7, 2025, via Tennistic Productions, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the audience for the support he received from them during his campaign.
Djokovic said,
"Sense of gratitude for the kind of support that I received tonight was incredible. I don't think I've ever received this much support on this stadium in my career in big matches against the best players in the world. So, I'm very, very honored to experience that obviously not the happiest because of the loss but you know, I try to show my gratitude to the crowd because they were terrific in the moments."
Djokovic will target his record-equaling eighth Wimbledon title next month, hoping to end his wait for the 25th Grand Slam title.
