Novak Djokovic reacts to wife Jelena's Paris adventures as she joins him at French Open 2024 to support his pursuit of historic 25th Grand Slam

Novak Djokovic was delighted to see his wife Jelena enjoying in Paris while he stayed busy taking part in the French Open. The Serb recently booked his place in the third round of the clay-court Major after defeating Spain’s Roberto Carballes Baena 6-4, 6-1, 6-2.

Djokovic has had a dominant start to the French Open so far, having previously beaten Pierre-Hugues Herbert 6-4, 7-6(3), 6-4.

Jelena recently posted a few pictures from a Roland Garros Café and iconic places in Paris, including the Arc de Triomphe.

“From Paris with love,” Jelena wrote.

Djokovic was quick to react to his wife's post and shared a couple of emoticons to express his happiness.

Novak Djokovic and his wife Jelena got married at the Aman Sveti Stefan Resort in Montenegro in 2014. They are parents to two children, daughter Tara and son Stefan.

On May 22, Djokovic celebrated his 37th birthday and his wife shared an adorable message for her husband.

“Happy birthday to the silly, goofy, tireless daddy with a heart as big as the universe. It is not that you are ours, but you really are the best We Love You," Jelena wrote which was translated from Serbian.

After beating Carballes Baena, Djokovic will next take on 30th seed Lorenzo Musetti in the third round of the French Open. The Italian booked his spot in the last 32 after beating Gael Monfils 7-5, 6-1, 6-4.

The Serb has faced Musetti five times so far, winning four times. Their very first encounter came in the fourth round of the 2021 French Open. Musetti won the first two sets via tiebreak but Djokovic bounced back to dominate the next two sets and win them 6-1, 6-0. The Serb led 4-0 in the final set before the Italian retired from the match.

Their most recent meeting came in the third round of the Monte-Carlo Masters this season, with Djokovic winning 7-5, 6-3.

Whoever out of the Serb and Musetti comes out on top at the Court Philippe Chatrier, will face either 14th seed Tommy Paul or 23rd seed Francisco Cerundolo for a place in the quarterfinals of the French Open.
