Coco Gauff received a special offer from Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, for Athlos 25 after her thunderous Grand Slam title win at the 2025 French Open. Ohanian also offered Gauff a trackside suite at the event after learning how she emulated Gabby Thomas to manifest the win.

Gauff clinched her first French Open and her second Grand Slam title at Roland Garros on Saturday, June 8. She rallied from a set down to eventually come out on top of a three-set battle, 7-6, 6-2, 6-4, against World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka in the final.

In an Instagram post after the win, Gauff shared a picture of a note with 'I will win French Open' written multiple times on it and added the message:

Gauff's emotions were apparent as she hugged the trophy while the American anthem played at Court Philippe Chatrier to celebrate their new champion.

In a press conference after the presentation ceremony, Coco Gauff shared her emotions particularly in light of being on the same stage as a runner-up in 2022 having lost to Iga Swiatek.

"When the anthem got played, I vividly remember watcher her [Iga Swiatek] pretty emotional when the Polish anthem got played and I was like wow, that was such a cool moment. So when the anthem got played today, I kind of had those reflections," she said [at 2:40].

She also spoke of her mentality going into her second French Open final and said:

"Yeah it was a tough time, I was doubting myself, wondering if I would ever be able to circum, especially my mentality going into that match. I was crying before the match and like, so nervous, literally couldn't breathe and stuff so I was like, if I can't handle this, how am I going to handle it again?"

She added that winning her maiden Grand Slam at the 2023 US Open boosted her confidence on Saturday.

"And then obviously US Open happened, which I think created that reaction and now I just felt really ready today and I was like I'm just gonna leave it all on the court and regardless of what happens, I can leave proud," she said.
