Novak Djokovic cruises into the third round at Australian Open

Djokovic celebrates his win over Kuznetsov

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic continued his impressive form with a straight sets victory over Andrey Kuznetsov of Russia. The Serb even handed a bagel in the win, taking the match 6-0, 6-1, 6-4 in just 84 minutes.

Djokovic had finished his last match with a 6-0 set and continued with the trend in Thursday morning’s match. It only took him 21 minutes to wrap up the first set.

The second set was a similar story with Djokovic dropping just one game. After 2-0 up in the match after 51 minutes, Djokovic had made just unforced errors. Kuznetsov put up a fight in the last set, even managing to break the Serb’s serve once. However, the 4-time Australian Open champion was just too strong as he sealed the set 6-4 to go through to the next round.
