Sania Mirza, Shoaib Malik engage in love-banter on Twitter
Following Pakistan's victory over Sri Lanka, Shoaib Malik was awarded a bike. Wife Sania Mirza decided to have some fun on Twitter.
The Pakistan cricket team trounced Sri Lanka in a three-match T20 series in Lahore on Sunday. Indian tennis player Sania Mirza was in attendance to watch her husband Shoaib Malik play. It turned out be one of the better games for Shoaib as he scored an unbeaten half-century for Pakistan and was named man-of-the-series. The former captain was awarded a motorbike for his efforts.
Pakistan had earlier competed in a world XI series last month. The first 2 matches of the 3-match series was held in UAE, and Sania attended both matches.
The Indian tennis star tweeted a picture of Shoaib on the bike with the captain, and said, “Chalen phir is pe? (Let’s go on this?)".
To which, Shoaib invited her to come along with him. Moments later, she tweeted again but this time she had a surprise. She attached a photo of her husband with teammate Shadab Khan as the pillion as she was not amused saying, “Ok never mind… guess the seat is taken already”.
Soon, the couple engaged in a fairly amusing piece of banter which was all in good nature. You can follow the conversation here.
Shadab Khan too decided to jump into the conversation
