The Australian Open has kicked off and the tennis world has never been this busy! Take a look at all the off court action that took place in the past week.

Sharapova launches Sugarpova and joins Twitter

Maria Sharapova has launched her own brand of premium gummy candies named “Sugarpova”. She launched the produce a few days back in Melbourne. If you are interested in tasting them, you should know that six sugarpova candies cost $30!

Also, she officially joined Twitter last week @mariasharapova. Her first tweet – “Your ultimate sugarmama has arrived”

Caroline Wozniacki, Laura Robson and Maria Kirilenko had the opportunity to play in a mirrored tennis court. The event was conducted by Adidas to officially launch Stella McCartney’s new line of dresses.

Their session is expected to come out as a advertisement video.

Tipsarevic can’t get any more tattoos

No more ink for Tipsarevic

Janko Tipsarevic is known for two things – his glasses and his tattoos. But, his wife, television host Biljana Tipsarevic has forbidden him from getting any more ink on his body. He said, “I am currently on an embargo from my wife not allowing me to do any more.”

Well, a reasonable request isn’t it?

The Kids’ day celebrations at Australian Open has now become routine. This year, it was a huge blast. Familiar faces like Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Serena Williams and Ana Ivanovic were present joined by SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora, Diego and Partick Starfish.

Nole gangnamed with Serena, Federer and Jo Wilfried Tsonga were acting ball boys and Federer’s twins too were present. Federer especially was having a great time with SpongeBob.

Novak Djokovic’s serve is faster than an Audi R8 LMS GT3 race car

Djokovic defeat an Audi R8 Race Car

An Audi R8 trying to outrun a serve by Novak Djokovic’s serve. The car had an running start but it was no match to Nole’s serve as the ball crossed the finish line first.

Mark Eddy won the 2011 Australian GT Championship with this same car!
