Victoria Azarenka is spending quality time with her son after an encouraging run at the 2023 Australian Open. The tennis star also delighted her fans by sharing images of the mother-son duo who were at the NHL All-Star game in Florida.

Azarenka made it to the semifinals of the Melbourne Grand Slam before going down to eventual runner-up Elena Rybakina. Focusing on her family now, she posted adorable photographs of herself alongside her son Leo, who sported a Montreal Canadiens jersey.

The annual All-Star extravaganza, involving some of the best-known names in the NHL, converged on Florida in an event that also featured cross-sport competitions.

"We love sports. All-star weekend with Leo. Thank you NHL, we had a lot of fun"

Victoria Azarenka was also part of the judging panel at the skills competition event, which was part of the festivities during the All-Star Weekend.

The 33-year-old had earlier shared images of herself playing football with her son and other kids, while taking some time off after the Australian Open tournament.

Azarenka had mentioned, over the course of an interview during the Australian Open, that her son was very much into "soccer" and wanted to play for Paris St Germain.

"Leo is extremely into football now. I call it football, he calls it soccer - we have this debate. He wants to play in Paris St Germain, that's his dream. I'm a soccer mom now and I love that. I'm obnoxious, like absolutely the most obnoxious. It's a completely different emotion for me to support my son. I have no shame in screaming for him, like zero. But I'm very supportive. I want him to do well. I want him to achieve his dreams," she stated.

Victoria Azarenka couldn't have asked for a better start to her 2023 WTA season.

The former World No. 1, who faced Sofia Kenin in the first round, got past the 2020 Australian Open champion in straight sets before defeating Nadia Podoroska in the second round.

She lost the first set to Madison Keys over the course of a tricky third-round encounter but bounced back to beat the American.

Zhu Lin did offer some resistance to the two-time Australian Open champion in the fourth round but failed to get past Azarenka. She then upset third-seeded Jessica Pegula in the quarterfinals.

Despite her defeat at the hands of Elena Rybakina in the semifinals, the Belarusian will be happy with her performance while also breaking into the WTA top 20.
