Rybakina won her first grand slam title in 2022 Wimbledon, becoming the first player from Kazakhstan to win the major title. She emerged victorious at the 2024 Stuttgart Open, registering a win against Marta Kostyuk in straight sets. Rybakina was born on June 17, 1999, in Moscow, Russia. In childhood, she tried different sports with her sister, focusing more on ice skating and gymnastics. However, she was told she could not play professionally in both sports because she was too tall for them.
