Wimbledon 2015: Top 5 matches to watch on Day 2

  1. Andy Murray Vs Mikhail Kukushkin

World No. 3 Andy Murray is seen as one of the favorites coming into the Championships. The Scot won the Aegon Championships at the Queen’s club for the fourth time and is 41-6 this season so far.

Mikhail Kukushkin has played in three grass court tournaments (Stuttgart, Halle and Nottingham ) with little success in each of them. It is a daunting task for the player from Kazakhstan to make any inroads into Murray’s game come Tuesday.

Murray has won both matches played between these two in 2012.

Match Time: Around 9 pm IST.

  1. Tomas Berdych Vs Jeremy Chardy

Both Tomas Berdych and Jeremy Chardy are coming off fourth round losses at Roland Garros. Berdych played at Halle where he was at the recieving end of Ivo Karlovic’s record 45 aces in the quarterfinals.

Chardy on the other hand lost to Thanasi Kokkinakis at the Queen’s club. Berdych, a former finalist at Wimbledon will look to use his serve to good effect against Chardy who likes to dictate points from the baseline.

Bercdych leads their head to head 3-1.

Match Time: Around 9 pm IST.
