A summary of Michael Corinthos' journey on General Hospital

Chad Duell’s portrayal of Michael Corinthos on General Hospital brought emotional depth and maturity to a character involved in family drama and personal tragedy. Michael started as the son of Carly Corinthos and A.J. Quartermaine but was later adopted by the powerful Sonny Corinthos, which put him right in the middle of a family feud.

His life was marked by turmoil, including being accidentally shot, falling into a coma, and later grappling with the trauma of being r*ped in prison.

One of the most important moments in Michael's life came when he killed his stepmother, Claudia Zacchara, to protect his mother and baby sister. This event led to many problems, like going to jail and being attacked, which made it hard for him to trust others.

Despite these challenges, Michael pursued a path of redemption and healing, forming meaningful relationships and stepping into his role as a business leader at ELQ, the family company.

Michael's later years were also full of challenges, including being betrayed, facing big losses, and dealing with his adoptive father, Sonny.

From his complex relationships with Abby Haver and Sabrina Santiago to his leadership at ELQ and fights over custody of his sister Avery, Michael became a character deeply connected to the power struggles in Port Charles.
